Plan the order first
Lay out the pages before scanning. For a contract, include attachments and both sides of any page that contains information. For lecture notes, keep the original sequence. Count the expected pages so you have something concrete to check against the final PDF.
Keep every page readable
Document Scanner supports multi-page PDFs. Capture each page with consistent lighting and review the edges and orientation. A clear first page does not make the remaining pages readable automatically. Look for cut-off headings, blurred text or a page that was captured twice.
Check the exported PDF
Open the finished PDF and compare its page count with your original stack. Check the order and inspect detailed pages at a readable zoom. Name the document for its purpose and store it in the right folder. Before emailing a large scan, check the recipient’s attachment limits and remove unrelated pages rather than sending an incomplete document.
